We don't always know what we're carrying. It's even harder to notice what we are carrying when we are focused on caring for others. Most of us in caring professions go about our days without tuning into how we're feeling, which can produce prolonged stress, exhaustion, and even diminished value.

Come join as we slow down for 30 minutes. Bring a curious mind and a place to jot your thoughts. If you're able to wear comfortable clothing, do that too!

We will cover a few mindfulness-based tools that we can add to our resiliency routine, as well as some techniques we can lean on during emotionally charged situations. The evidence base for the skills we discuss are pulled from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Additional resources will be shared during our time together.
